I'm still a bit in love with the grey wool coat I got from Jane Norman (lololol) 2 years ago. Before I bought that, I was wearing an old ex-army coat from the surplus store in Victoria for about 4 years. It was made in the month and year of my birth, and totally swamped me.

modcloth is kind of good, but i always feel like im giving in to a guilty pleasure, and theres something more sophisticated.

There are just so many GODAMN choices. Jane Norman is british and the website didnt entice me enough to find out if they ship here. Topshopm on the other hand may be worth browsing...but it must take forever to ship.
And obviously I have a bit of an instant gratification issue.

i just created this post. where i described in pretty amazing detail these three coats i'm hidding in an obscure location at my local goodwill store. but i was logged out before i could submit my reply. and it's just as well. because no one gives a shit except for me. but i care a lot. friday is payday. oh hell yea.

I just got a really cute waterproof trench by Luella, its red and white and the pattern is umbrellas and men in bowler hats. But I have only worn it once because I don't think it goes with jeans.
