does anyone know a good place to find band t-shirts that aren't made with plain cotton t-shirts? i never wear them because i feel like they just hide my shape and look kind of unisexual. i want to be able to look feminine in an iggy and the stooges t-shirt.

i tried the reckon clothing site (they had some band logos available on fitted shirts) and i'm pretty sure it's not legit. it's been over 3 months since i placed an order. i haven't received it and they won't respond to my e-mails.

has a shitload of bands/artists. they have a lot of babydoll tees (band shirts except not all manly). and the greatest attribute of this site is its fucking cheapp!!

the quality is a lot better than burningairlines.com, but it is a bit pricey becuase of that.

and also you could just diy. its a lot cheaper, and its a lot of funnnn

My problem with band t-shirts is that they're either shapeless on me (mens fit) or babydoll style (too tight in the chest). I like long, skinny fit ones. I'll check out the sites you posted, catatonicx !

I really like this site: djtees.com. They have tons of cool band t-shirt. Their designs are unique and they have a big variety of colors and sizes. Burningairlines.com seems to have a lot of cool stuff as well. Love the sonic youth tees they have up there.

I think it depends on the band. Maybe I should advise you to get better taste in music. (edit: that sounded a bit mean when I read it through, and made me look like I had bad taste since you mentioned the excellent stooges. I'm surprised you can't get their ts in girls sizes since they're such a huge band? When I said get better taste in music, I meant start liking bands who have good t shirts, that way you can't go wrong.) All the band shirts I own I've bought from gigs, but perhaps you could try the label websites of bands you like.

I know what you mean about shirts, the girls ones are often be made of thicker material than the men's, or sometimes they're only available in men's sizes. If that's the case I get small or extra small, which works especially well when they use nice unisex American Apparrel shirts.

Don't forget you could also alter shirts - band t shirts are better than any other kind to customise and it doesn't take much effort to make something a better fit or spice up a shirt.

Actually, it took me awhile to find cause' I kept looking in clothing instead of the t-shirt section.

Oh nevermind, they only have large.

I'm finished buying shirts online I think. Only one has ever fit correctly. I like long skinny fit tees too, so babydolls are usually too short and the small regular fit guys tees are always too wide.
And even regular womens blouses, i never know when to get a medium or when to get a large. Some mediums are fucking tiny. Arhghg i've wasted so much money, but it's so much easier to think about what i want online.
oh and RECKON.com is NOT legit, i ordered a harold and maude shirt that never came and they have no real contact information.

PS - dELiAs > apparel > graphic tees has band shirts, but it's a really limited variety.

I did a long time ago, the velvet underground tee in purple with Nico's face. I'm thinking of ordering a few, including the gg allin one sometime soon. Also, they had a really nice purple and black zebra dress I might want. They're a trustable site.
