right, these palestine scarves.

what's with these? are they just a new trend or is there some reason behind them.

My friend was wearing one yesterday and then all of a sudden I noticed they're every where. can someone explain?

New? Where do you live? they're common here
Mostly people wear them cause they're ooh so alternative. Some wear them to show they support the palestines(so they say, but whats the reason? they just won't admit they just think it's a cool accessory). I once was told most palestines for some rasons doesnt like people wearing them, but I don't know really.
Haha look I found this pic, she's ecactly what I'm talking about:

no, I'm from glasgow. it's probable that they have been about for ages, I just don't notice things like that.

not to keen on the whole concept to be honest. they're a bit dowdy as a pure fashion thing.

i so wouldnt even go there, unless of course i was from palestine.

I was too puzzled at first when I walked through the uni and saw people with those scarves.

We miss out on so much here in Canada.....mind you I'm not saying that I'd want to see those scarves becoming popular.

I used to wear a Kafiah in solidarity with the Palestinians before it was trendy to do so.

Needless to say, I don't anymore.

In fact, I don't even know where my Kafiah is.
