Fords at top shops. Yeah, this is well local but it was a cool toy shop I used to visit as a child.

Fosters. Smarter than Top Man and not as fuddy-duddy as Burtons. They just disapeared overnight IIRC.

In New York, when I was a kid they had A&S. Then it turned into Macy's. Now Marshall Fields in Chicago has turned into Macy's also.

Wenn sie noch die beste und die preiswerte geburtstag Geschenke bilden, liebe ich sie noch! Ich erinnere mich an eine Jahr, als alle meine Freunde 'entzueckt' waren, Leopardgedruckt Uhren zu empfangen!

internacionalle still exists! there's one in my hometown. but it's only for clothes, so it's shit. i hope that homeware one in leeds is still there, that has to be one of my fave shops in the world!

Etam and C&A are both going on the continent. C&A's got a bit tackier though...and Etam's boring.
I miss Bwise, haha.

So how is it like wal-mart?

I love Macy's. The ones in chicago suck though, compared to the huge original one in new york. The original one is one of my favorite places of all time to shop.

Yes, I kind of do agree with it being like Wal-Mart...but JC-Penney or Sears is most like Wal-Mart At least Macy's carries brands like Ralph Lauren, etc. Sears/JC carries shit. I dont even bother going in there really, but Sears is the place to go for appliances and home shit.

Wal-Mart is the place to go to save .10 cents on your favorite candy bar or bottle of soda compared to your regular grocery store. And no I'm not Jewish.
