| | | shopping online I was browsing asos.com earlier this evening, as you do. And saw a few rather nice summery dresses.. I have had no luck at all with dresses when I've been shopping, size-wise I mean, so I thought I'd give online shopping a bit of a whirl.
Anyway, is it actually possible to return stuff you've bought online if like, it arrives and looks crappy on you? I don't really see why it shouldn't be but like yeah, just wondering.

| | | depends on the return policy.
i really want this one prom dress but its $350, nonreturnable, and doesn't ship until two weeks before prom, so by the time i actually get it, it'll only be a few days before prom and ill be fucked if it looks ugly or doesnt fit.
but it all depends on the company.
i've ordered clothes online that have come to special boxes to send back in case they didn't fit, but at the same time, there are sites like the prom one that can fuck you over.
it all depends on the return policy. |

| | | Yeah you can. With ASOS it's a case of putting it back in the packaging and filling in a returns label then take it to the post office. It's free to return as far as I remember but you don't get your postage and packaging refunded, just the cost of the items.
I shop online quite a lot and I used to really begrudge paying a fiver for postage but if you think about it it's what you'd spend on transport/lunch if you went shopping in the town so it's not so bad really. Best idea is to buy quite a few things at once, then you might even get free postage.
Also if you shop with ASOS, Top Shop, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins the delivery is very quick, usually 2 days after you order.
I'm so bitter that H&M and Zara don't have online shops! |

| | | Yeah it's really easy, check the returns policy but usually they send you a sticker to put on the packaging to return it to them for free so you just need to put it back in the packaging, sellotape it up and drop it into the post office. I once returned everything I bought from m&s because I think I must have been hormonal or the stuff looked really different on the website but when it came it was all really really horrible. |
