Do they last long or do you have to take care of them (i.e spray them) in some way?

i can't stop lusting after these:

I like the sort of cranberry red ones. But the model I saw them on was super feminine and pretty and so they looked edgy, whereas I would look weird Can't afford them anyways.

I have brown ones, and I love them. They're fairly light too so I'm not always dragging my feet around all the time.

They look lighter brown than these one, even though they're the exact same style of Dr. Martins.

i have 10 hole black, the same kind i've worn since high school. the ones i have now are about 6 years old and are starting to wear out.

i can't stand doc martens. they were THE MOST uncomfortable things i ever had my feet in. they're too expensive as well.
i wear regular old combat boots.

I JUST REBOUGHT MYSELF A PAIR OF GREEN ONES!

i got a pair second hand (but in like brand new nick) for a hundred bucks (they're eighteen ups) when i was fourteen. i wear them more than any other shoe and i'm twenty two now. i've never polished them or anything and the leather still looks new. docs are awesme!

i have the 20 eye doc martens. i couldn't find a picture of the ones i have. mine have a chunky black heel. i got them almost 10 years ago. i scratched the hell out of the top of them the second time i wore them (at a hole show) which sucked, but they're like my battle scars so i've never tried to have them fixed.

I have the old old mary jane flats, like these almost but with an iron buckle. They are seven years old and I never really took care of them and they are still going strong. I've worm em to work almost every day. unbreakable

and I got these, diva luliette T-bar heels, and I LOVE them. I vowed to take care of them properly heh. They walk divine too, never hurt my feet

I wear them all the time! I wore then when I went to rehearsels of my bf's band, and we have to walk 20 minutes from the bus stop, and it was fine! They really have no sharp edges and they fit great. Most comfy heels I own

If my legs were stick thin I'd wear them. I had some as a kid they were ace. I think my dads still got his, they will be about 20 year old and he loves polishing boots and things so yeah look after them and they will last.

really? i am the opposite, combat boots are far to stiff and painful to break in. the last pair of docs i bought were "greasy" leather so they were nice and soft from the get go!!!

I have two pairs of docs.... the ankle-high ones and the mid-calf high ones. Both in black. They pretty much last forever. I have to admit they are not always the most comfortable things to wear. Someone once said to me that docs are the MOST comfortable boots in the world once they are broken in. I don't get that at all.
