| | | Why is Topshop jewellery so expensive yet so shite? I've lost count of the amount of times I've bought items from there and normally within about three weeks the silver or gold has flaked off to reveal the nasty copper colour of whatever cheapo crap metal is used to make the stuff underneath. Or it's just flat out broken. Then to top that all off they have the nerve to charge £15 to £25 for some of it when it's just fashion jewellery. Sorry, I must sound like someone's nan but it used to be quite a cheap place to shop until it became "trendy" and they wheeled out Kate Moss who designs clothes only for people with the exact same body shape as herself and they are DULL DULL DULL for the most part....grrrr |

| | | kate moss = so fucking boring
i dont like topshop
there isnt anything wrong with the clothes in fact some of them are lovely but for what it is, and to charge the price, it's just insane.
I'd say they add £10 onto every dress each year. Topshop used to be cheap crap. I think it's boring anyway. |

and i reckon they do add £10 on a year. wtf is with that

now with TD i could justify spending lots because it used to be special and unique
actually can i just say one of my babes dresses head to foot in topshop and she looks amazing in it it's just not 'me'.
although i have to admit the vintage topshop bit in york was good! |

| | | I can't afford Topshop, plus the last thing I got there that fit me properly was a pair of Miffy pyjamas. And those were on sale.
All their stuff screams "Thin people only" and makes me feel sad about my size. This in turn infuriates me because I'm not fat.

| | | Most of the T shirts I've ever bought there fit me as slutty dresses because a) they are too long and made to fit someone of 6' + and b) my boobs fall out of everything from topshop as most women of 6' + who shop there are wafer thin.
Not that I care most of the time anyway. Most of the stuff is disgusting anyway. |

| | I bought my favourite dress in TopShop and I bought it two sizes too big because I was CONVINCED it wouldn't fit as has everything else I bought in there just looks ill on me. Now it "makes me look pregnant and shit" and for once it was actually sized right. Total bollocks but I still wear it .
As for Jewelry, god, forget topshop. Not too mention Claires Accessories????!!!!!!!!!! Overpriced TACK that turns your skin green ? |

| | | i know what you mean about topshop jewelry...i mean quality-wise it's no worse than the jewelry in a lot of other high street fashion stores, but it's so bloody expensive for what it is! i had some topshop earrings that cost about a tenner and within a couple of weeks one of them broke - the big circular decorative bit kept coming apart from the bit that actually went through my ear. and y'know, i could have got some really similar earrings from primark, and they would blatantly have fallen apart in two weeks too, but at least i'd only have paid a quid for them.
and i have a big chunky topshop ring that leaves fucking green shit on my finger.
and a necklace that keeps falling apart.
and yet i continue to buy jewelry in there for some reason.
i do like quite a lot of the clothes in there. although not a massive fan of the kate moss stuff? i have a white dress from the kate moss range from last summer but other than that i havent seen much i like. |
