I have loads of nice going out clothes but nothing that really fits into the catergory for day wear...What kind of things would you suggest?

good question, I suppose you could just focus on hair and make up, sexy hair and make up! Then even if your just in jeans and a tshirt you'll look good. Nice fitting clothes that show off curves/nice legs/whatever you want to emphasise. Hmm I want to know what other people suggest.

'Sexy but casual' is a myth perpetuated to make women waste hours of their day in front of a mirror, in penance for not having been born beautiful enough to achieve the 'look' naturally. Don't fall prey! I'm sure you're lovely as you are. Just spend much less time looking in the mirror and everything gets better. And no, not because you see less of how bad you look, but because then you really will be beautiful. FROM INSIDE. You think I'm joking but I really have turned into an ironic-genuine hippy in my KR-absence.

Clothing tips though, so I contribute something for the cynics in this thread: plain coloured or simple-patterned clothes that fit well. And by 'fit well', I don't mean clinging to your flesh, but comfortable. Zara and Gap are nice. Wouldn't generally agree with the 'show a bit of boob' advice.

My boyfriend told me the other day that he liked the way I wear clothes.
What?? Apparently it's all to do with a casual way of wearing something, regardless of what it is.
He also said he gets the impression that my clothes could fall off at any moment, and that's a good thing. Although it sounds to me a bit like I dress in decaying rags.
What I'm saying is, wear something that you like and feel good in and have an attitude about it.
I think that what looks sexy on one person in a casual way might look just lazy on another person, so suggesting clothes to wear might be futile.
That said, nice black jeans and a man's cardigan are generally what I wear these days. And I used to be so glam!

Many a cardigan is smokin' hot. Many are horrid, yes, but if you wear them well, they look good.

Indie boys in cardigans is so over. It has been for a while but Topman (I just wrote that 'tompan' which is so much nicer, almost exotic, but I digress) won't let them rest in peace. *shakes fist*

My boyfriend also says he likes how I dress. I dress really casual like literally jeans a strappy top and a cardigan unless i'm going out at night.

Why don't you try jeans and like a short dress over the top. Accesorize a little bit and have nice hair and makeup.
