i need a new school tote, and i'm ebaying for options.
i found this one, which claims to be from anthropologie, but i shop there regularly, and don't recall seeing this bag.

then again, the seller is from Thailand.

anyhow, the bag is clearly marked with a G&H/GH logo on the bag and on the tag -- but i don't recognize that brand. and in order to know what i should limit my bidding to, i want to find out what the retail value of that bag is. but i can't identify the brand.

so if anyone knows more about G&H/GH or recognizes it....

if it's from thailand, it's probably not anthropologie. especially if the seller sells stuff wholesale.

i wouldn't pay too much for it. all the bags i've bought on holiday from thailand pretty much suck quality-wise.

come on. it's not a real brand. it's just some random logo to make it look good. it would have been made in THAILAND for fuck sake. probably slave labour. i wouldn't get it. get a nice bag from etsy or something.

i have got some fantastic handbags cheap from thailand both leather and faux. ill post some pictures once i actually find my usb cable. i wouldnt worry about the brand if its sold in thailand. it is most likely just something stuck on. but then again people need to start realising that ALL of the brands are just stuck on. we're not talking about expensive designer gear and even then its not like every single brandname actually has an inhouse designer who specialise in bags.

i have a friend who lives in malaysia whose dad runs a bag factory. they make everything from adidas to swiss army (everytime she comes visit or i go visit i get a nice bag) and we're not talking about knockoffs. these are the ones that eventually end up and marked up 600% in europe and america.

hmmm i had a look at etsy. when its that cheap, where do you think its made?

btw, dont buy anything from an ebayer that doesnt reply to your mail.
