i cant find a good one in between plain and too ornate/expensive. help!

it may be hard to find pea coats at this time of year but you might want to check out department stores like macy's/dillards or whatever you have in your area. they tend to have middle of the road pea coats that are around 100 to 200 $$ and obviously have coats all year round since those stores specifically have a coat department.

i shouldva said "pea jackets" or actually, even shirts with big buttons that look like the blouse version of a pea coat. does that make sense? i dont know where to find something like that. with big buttons and a british feel.

find a pattern and/or a picture and take it to a tailor to see if they can make one.
