Here, dear. I would not wear brown and black together. In my opinion you can definitely have a brown top or shirt with a jean. I like brown and cream too. On others, you know.

Oh and brown shoes make me frown. Every single time.

i love brown clothes. i think i'm going through a brown phase right now 'cause i used to wear all black (not in a goth way, just black pants, black top/turtleneck) but stopped a little while ago. anyway, i think brown and black can look really good together. like brown pants/cords with a plain black top looks very nice, i think anyway.

god i love brown. my closet is full of brown, gray, black, and olive. earth tones look great on me, incidentally they look great on my bf as well. damn near every morning we get dressed and we match, completely unintentional and very annoying.

what do i wear with brown hmm...tan/khaki looks good. and yes certain pinks do look very nice with brown. i often do brown and certain shades of green (i have a pier 1 pillow with those colors), also brown and certain blues (you should see my bedroom), brown and denim is fine as well. and i have tweed skirts and print pants that will have brown (mixed with colors like maroon or orange) in them and i wear solid brown tops. brown and gold work. burnt orange and rust red look good with brown. strangely i never do brown and black. i've never found a nice combo of it.
