i think this is an important question. personally, i love mine and think there's no problem with it. but it's recently come to my attention that maybe i don't look 'decent' in some outfits (too skanky, which really is NOT my goal)

so.. where is the line between tops that say 'well put together' and 'will put out!'??

and does breast size have to do with it? can small chested ladies get away with more revealing tops? if so where's the cup size line?

unfortunately breast size has LOTS to do with it. I can wear a small cleavage and it will look huge because my boobs are big. I have some smallbreasted friends that get away with wearing the most revealing tops because they look "cute" in it. not sexy, not provocative, not skanky, CUTE. it kinda pisses me off. I try not to ever wear cleavage when Im at work or school, but sometimes they're just kinda out there. when i go out, I wear cleavage, because I find most big breasted people look better with some cleavage than none...ah I wasn't helpful, this thread made me rant.

and i've also been thinking about when cleavage becomes distracting. for men, what amount of cleavage becomes distracting? or gets you to stop/lessen your listening of what a woman has to say, becauser her boobs are all in your face?

i have kinda big breasts and have no problem with wearing cleavage, im really confident with my body and esp. with my big boobs

at times it gets a lil annoying if there's some guy staring at them but i guess i cant complain - i chose to show them off, right?
plus if i dont wear cleavage most of my shirts look weird cause of the boobs and i HATE that. so.

and - how come nobody's going to tell a girl with really skinny legs that her mini skirt (and believe me i saw some extremely short miniskirts on girls) is ''skanky'' but theyre going to tell me my boobs are too much?

Sometimes men stare down my top or crash shopping trolleys into stands in shops (ask Ruth about that one) which is annoying. You wouldn't just stare at someone that long normally so why do my titties give them a license. When the weather is hot I am not wearing a high cut dress or top. Don't like it that I even have to consider whether some perve is going to stare at my tits when I buy something.. so I don't. I just accept the reality that they will and that I will tell them to fuck off. Sometimes I just put my hair over them when walking past large groups of men.

see how mine pop out of the dress, the same way yours does? i mean you can't see HUGE amounts of boob, or nipple or anything, but because of the size of our boobs, the top part gets pushed up by any bra. you'd need to essentially wear only crew-neck shirts, because shirts with any sortof neckline will inevitably show some boob.

argh. i'm stressed out abotu this. i got one comment about looking like a prostitute, from someone's opinion i really do respect, and now i'm worried ALL my outfits are too revealing, and i just wasnt aware.

You better go out and buy a chador! From that pic posted above it doesn't look like you are showing too much even if they are pushed up a bit.

generally people that tell you that are only jelous of our cleavage, i've got that kind of comment a few times, i couldnt care less. me and my friends laugh about it. i guess you just need to be confident and do what makes you feel ok. if youre fine with your boobs (and believe me, i think you should - tits are great!) you should keep on wearing what you want. its not tits that make you seem a prostitute. i've seen extremely flat chested girls look like skanky crackwhores and women with breasts bigger than mine look completely cute and classy.

i am like ronette, i suspect.

other women are the ones who get all wierd about it. and usually well you know. theyre the ones who are all bitter about breasts and lack thereof.

personally i dont like those kinds of tops, i mean its fine if you're wearing it for the right occasion but more often than not it just looks skanky. and not exactly versatile. but i REALLY like that black dress, it has the right kind of neckline and to me that's good cleavage, in that it doesn't look like an arse. its the kind of look i go for.

i dont know. i think lots of cleavage makes other women uncomfortable because they are imagining that its their tits on show or something and its not a nice feeling. i think that's kind of how i feel about it anyway. i hate seeing boobs that look like they're falling out of tops, i feel sorry for them.

my boobs are huge (like uk size HH last time i was measured..although i argue im more like an F) so i've got used to having my cleavage on display most of the time, i get a lot of comments about it but im not bothered anymore.
