I think apart from the usual Bacillario/Coemeterium your best bet, believe it or not, are underwear shops

Ahahahahah YES it's still open, but it's not in via Arco De' Ginnasi anymore (can't remember the new address, still somewhere near Torre Argentina though). Reminds me of my teenage years too, when I was stupid enough to spend hudreds on Bacillario clothes - which, btw, I still love but wouldn't buy ever again. I think you should try in proper underwear shops, not like Intimissimi and all that crap. There are a couple in the centre where I think I've seen corsets, one was on that streets that leads from via Frattina to piazza S.Silvestro, it sells lots of expensive underwear, but I'm not sure it's still there, I've not come back to Rome since September A bit hit and miss but it's worth a try!

and the other is SO beautiful its like blue/cream small striped it looks abit sailorish, its made of REALLY thick twill cotton?
i think theyre both axfords, one was like £30 and i cant remeber the other one but it wasnt expensive
