| | | office/professional but cute help! for my job i have to dress officey/professional, not like power suits but you know, pretty conservitive. but it's just sooo boring! any ideas for some cute but still officey outfits? they're not super strict so it doesn't have to be really dressy.
photo examples = good. |

| | Hmm. I work in an office, too, and have to do the same type of stuff. I always like the pinstriped dress shirts- the collared kind. Sometimes I wear that with a tie.{And yes, I'm female} I love wearing alot of peaqrl strands. I have a 3 row pearl choker thats cute, too. {Got it from Claires} bangled bracelets are fun. Most of the cuting up for my office attire has to do with accessorizing. Oh, and I like the librarian-style sweaters. Old wool oversweaters/cardigans, and argyle sweaters.

I tried to google some pics, but all I come up with is porn! |

| | | I have this problem too because I'm a teacher, but as a teacher you can't dress in anything remotely sexy, and dressing too trendy is frowned upon. You quite literally have to dress boring. |

| | | it's definitely all about the accessories. cute necklaces and bracelets and hairclips can transform a dull outfit into something original without looking too casual. Obviously the twenty different homemade beaded bracelets on one wrist look isn't going to go down well if the dress code is smart, but a chunky bright coloured bangle, for example, would look good. stuff like that.
Also, one of my favourite things to wear at my office job last year was a skirt that fell just below the knee, with boots and fishnet tights. You can only see a couple of inches of fishnet between the skirt and the boots, so it's not inappropriate for the office, but it's still slightly more interesting than plain tights. |

other than that, i think her outfit is rather cute. she'd need to have the right shoes, and not everyone could carry it off, but yeah. it could work. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
