i've already paid off $100. i really need it for my placement which is starting in about a week.
it's a black suit with a grey pin stripe. it fits like a glove and is quite conservative looking. i only bought the jacket and trousers but i think i really should get the skirt too: it will give me so many more ways to wear the suit.

i think that was a good thing to do - i mean, you can still eat and pay rent, right?
a good suit will keep for aaaages - and if it cost $450 i'm sure it's fucking divine.
it's probably a good idea to get the skirt as well.

everyone needs a good suit. jsut look at it as an investment. i remember my first one i bought...gray herringbone. now i'm saving up for a chanel one, and its $4000. i know i'm insane, but like you said, it fits like it was made for ME. divine providence.

i think it's a good investment piece if it your going to interview after placement.... (justifying the purchase is key to spending that much sometimes no matter how crazy the logic it takes to justify, my problem are Manolo's so i understand)

a good investment. I got a Hugo Boss one last summer, but I'm saving for a Dior Homme one now, or maybe a Kilgour. I've heard Burberry tailor-make great suits too.

As long as you have the money to spend like that, or you haven't given yourself a treat in a long time, fuck yeah it's a great idea. But if you had to sell yourself on the streets to get it, nahh, maybeh later <3333333

i'm totally looking forward to the day i can justify buying a nice suit. even if all my future plans change, i'm still applying to med school just so i can spend too much money on the admissions interview outfit. i mean, who cares if i get in? i get a SUIT

at port adelaide scary and tough clients but interesting. it starts monday!
so when that starts i expect that will be my only focus (apart from working at nights to make money) because i will be to tired to do anything else. 6 weeks of intense... i'm just hoping to get it over with so i can get on with everything.

That's crazy. I think it's all in the way you carry yourself 'in' the clothes.

I bought a three-piece black, grey pinstriped suit about two years ago for less than $100 and I have worn that thing in so many different ways it crazy.

I don't have the occassion to wear it too often, but I still come up with ideas for wear, as the styles change. It's actually a four-piece, because it came with this button-in 'lacey dicky' that looks like a shirt but it's just like a ... bib... ya know? A dicky.

Slap on the appropriate shoe and you're in business.

$450AUD is pretty reasonable for a suit. My brother has one worth like $1500 and it's not even that nice . It's mustard yellow. Puke-o-rama.

Suits are rad. I wsh I still worked in an office so I could have loads of them.
