i don't think any of the louboutins are wide, least of all the high heels. i think they may even be slightly more narrow than a medium width.

if your foot is very wide you should go up a half size. most people are either true to size or a half size down in the pigalle ... but wide feet always require going up (in all his styles) because they are cut so narrow.

Brooke~ I am in love, love, love with the Louboutins you helped Todd choose for me... now here's the small problem. The backs are a little loose. I fall out them (off and on) when I walk. But I think going down a half size will make them unwearable and too tight. What can I add or do to make the back fit? Moleskin? I have weird flat feet. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in shoes. I ADORE these shoes. I do not want to exchange them for different ones, unless you have the same in a 1/2 size smaller....

hey! i'm so glad that you love them! i think you are right that a smaller size would be too tight and uncomfortable. what i would suggest for you is a few things or a combination of them, it really depends on what works for your foot and where you have less room and where you can make up for it. one thing you can do is add heel grips. these are sold at drugstores and made by a variety of different manufacturers - they stick to the top lip of the heel and sort of grip at the top of where the shoe is so it doesn't slip off at the heel. another suggestion would be toe pads, these add extra comfort and push your heel slightly back so sometimes this alone can do the trick. lasty, insolia also seems to help and that goes in the arch area and shifts the weight of your foot more into the heel. you can read about them here: Insolia® Home Page. i do suggest the toe pads and heel grips though - they help me stay in my miss marples which were really difficult to keep on without slipping.

xx
