| | | Fancy dress party help! we're having a party soon and we've decided on a fancy dress theme os The Oscars, so you can be a movie star, a movie character or just dress up like you're going to the oscars.

| | | Wear a woman's tux like the one Diane Keating did, it would make a nice gender bending difference. |

And get one of those novelty oscars and make up a silly name |

who shall i be?? i don't really look like anyone famous. | Pick a style that you would like or suits you best and then go with it. Classic- wear a nice classic dress with glamorous makeup.
Bombshell- vamp it up..... Rebel-- wear a nontraditional dress (something maybe more like the tattered one Courtney Love wore to some awards show, NOT like Bjork's chicken outfit! ) etc.
That's my advice- decide what style you do best with and have fun with it. Dress like you already won the Oscar. Work it!
Maybe it's because I haven't had the chance to go to something formal in so long, but I would have fun with this. I'd go classic and understated. |
