At first no i was completely unaware like everyone else. When I first met "JT" in person, it was actually a member of my family who said to me, "i'm telling you that's a woman dressed up" I think at the time I didn't want to believe that though, and so I didn't...right up until the end infact. It was, i feel a brilliant scam, to play the media and fool famous people (such and madonna, marrianne faithfull, courtney etc) whose egos are usually massive, was just fantastic. Quite why Laura Albert decided to form some kind of friendship with me i am not sure, afterall I wasn't in a position to further her career or really be of any "use" to her in that respect...it still seems odd to me that she would choose to do that for years and send me presents and stuff. She did, get in contact recently trying to explain some of her reasons, mainly to do with fear of people not taking her work seriously at first. It doesn't matter though, i mean writers have been doing that for years...writing under false names, it's just taking things to the next level i think. I do worry for her son though, i mean fair enough if you want to do that but to drag your child into it is not a great idea, the poor child must be bloody confused...even though Laura states that he not. Above all of that though, the woman is a brilliant writer, although I don't know if she'll be able to recover from this as the media don't like to be played and she had already lost her publishing deal at the time Harold's End came out, due to bloomsbry suspecting something was up (that's why it was published by indie publisher Last Gasp). I am still not sure if I want to read anymore of her work myself, I mean i might but it wont really mean the same to me.

On topic: hmmm i am not paying £200 for a white gold tongue bar...are tongue bars with jewels in them tacky? it's for a bloke...i mean i think he'd like it, i'm not sure though, i don't want it to look too bling, or chavy

Her facial features were quite feminine though, and not the kind you can get with hormone therapy; it looked naturally feminine. I can not believe so many people thought it was a ts. I always knew it was a genetic girl. Anyway, I am sure this (the whole scam story) will be made into a few movies. I think this probably was a part of their goal; to make JT famous and then even more scandalous and more famous by revealing this deception. Sure it was not directly them who made the revelation, but they knew it was going to happen eventually.
