| | | The 'Find Me This!' Thread! I need help finding some shoes, but I felt like maybe a general 'find me things' place might be a great thread for our resident fashion icons to help out us have-nots.
Feel free to post your own desperate fashion searches, or amazing recommendations.
Now for my own plea:
I desperately need a pair of brown sandals in a similar style to this:
I work for Laura Ashley and bought a black and brown dress for uniform: http://www.lauraashley.com/content/e...oap_main_m.jpg
( This is the URL).
The dress is a lighter richer brown than you can see in the site, and looks girlier on me as I have an hourglass shape.
Laura Ashley have the perfect pair of shoes except the heel is like a stiletto - it's far too fine to wear all day. I work on the fashion floor and have to walk around a lot, so wider and slightly lower heels would be perfect.
If you think you've found them, or you've got something better, please help me! I spent an hour shoe shopping today and couldn't find anything. |

| | | Oooh they're pretty damned good! How come I didn't find them on the Faith website? I am dumb, is the answer. I may well have to go to Faith tomorrow (can't buy shoes without trying them on).
Thanks honey! |

| | | I actually hated it on the hanger, but the really heavy fabric intrigued me. It's actually about £65, but I got that and a smart shirt worht about £35 and paid only £14, the rest was covered by my uniform allowance. It means I have to buy another couple of tops with my own money, but the dress will last forever, and I can wear it with thick tights or really fine natural ones depending on the weather.
In all honesty I just applied for another job (have only been at LA since Christmas) so I might have to pay back some of my uniform allowance but fuck it, I very rarely buy myself really nice clothes. |

| | I want a hat in this style:
but I'm not sure what it's called. I'd like a black one. eBay has been no help, and I don't know any good millinery sites... Anyone?
