HA ha ha, I would love to see there faces. men can be silly about those things. even though they use to be the ones to wear wigs, tights and heals all the time. and women wore sensible slippers. lol

| | | It's the most wonderful group, too.
I like round-toed shoes - the only pointy ones I've liked recently have been the Firetrap ones, but I hate the heels.
And I like stacked heels at the moment, but only for laid-back summery shoes. |

| | | I love modern opera and really hefty Italian. My debut principal role was in Verdi's Ballo in Maschera' and that was amazing. Last summer we did the British premiere of Glass' 'The Voyage' and that was astonishing, like nothing else I've ever done or heard.
I loved doing Britten's 'Peter Grimes' and in July we're doing 'Sweeney Todd' which is going really well - IO saw Opera North do it a couple of years ago, it was breathtaking. Ours is going to be gorier, though!
Asos.com have a pair of brown Firetrap high coutrs. They're yummy at the front, really different and cute, but I can't cope with the heel, it's really fat and ugly. Good look on finding cuter ones!
My ideal shoes at the moment are some Christian Louboutins. I love the 'Barb' shoe, as well as the Miss Marples and, I've forgotten the name, but the horifically ugly black and gold wedges. They're so awful but god I love them! |

They're so awful but god I love them! | I saw Ballo in 02-03 not sure which year. I remember it being excellent. Its so cool you get to be part of all of the seen. I always envied opera participants. Where I was encouraged in my life to be learned in the arts. I was anything but encouraged to be an actual part of them. But since I had grown in my own skin I love being surrounded and a part of it when I can.
Christian Louboutins = WOWOW
Thank you for introducing me to his line.
And I can’t seem to find the firetraps that your talking about on that site. But the ones that I saw were nice. Thank you yet again
What position in the opera are you? |
