Shirt problems!

Has anyone else been having this problem with shirts lately (the girls that is), it has happened to me in several brands. I wear a small or medium depending on the fit and used to be able to order from anywhere and get a consistent fit- Gap, Eddie Bauer, Old Navy, department stores, whatever. For the past 2-3 years--and I am PETITE and short waisted to boot--I am having problems with shirts having ridiculously looooooong arms yet the shirt itself is almost a belly baring length. WTF....but I have to roll the sleeves up or they hang to my fingertips or past. I stopped buying petite and started buying regular, and some shirts still fall short with too-long arms. If I buy tall/long, then they look ridiculous and the arms are even longer.

It's the attack of the long armed shirt. I know quality has changed, my old shirts still fit the same. UGH! But I am 30 and while I can pull it off, I don't WANT to cart my toddler around in belly shirts. I don't need tunics but jeez...I'd like my shirts to have normal length sleeves and fall to my hips so when I bend over an inch or raise my arms to pick my child up my shirts don't ride up. I wear lower rise bootcut jeans but I like my shirts to be fitted yet NOT ride up. My pants stay up---it;s my shirts that have functional issues.

BTW I hate seeing people in lowrise jeans and belly shirts bend over and you can see their thong or worse, a half moon--tacky!

Unhappy

I hate when shirts are short! even not very short can be too short for me if you know what i mean, it's really uncomfortable to me, i need them to stop where my ass starts not at the waist, i feel weird and keep pulling them down then.
and they change clothes and adapt them to the norm all the time, sizes keep getting bigger to eps shoes, i used to be a 38, i guess they could be a bit smaller now cause i'm thinner but seriously now i'm a 36½. poor people with 36(us6uk3) cause they are usually the smallest sizes available. and my feet arent that small but in heals i have 36 so people with smaller feet(but still not extremely small at all!) cant wear them, argh!
sheeesh i'm rambling i'm tired
