| | | Tongue piercing. I'm considering having a tongue piercing however I shall have porcilain(I cannot spell the word) veneers put on my teeth in the summer. I don't think there will be a problem with this but I simply wonder if anyone will know if there would be a problem potentially?
Thank you. |

| | | don't do it, it ruins your teeth. plus why spend the money on veneers to only have them chipped.

| | | It depends on the shape/size of your mouth though.
I have two tongue piercings and neither have ever caught my teeth...ever.

| | ask a dentist? or the piercer?
my tongue bar doesn't really knock against my teeth at all.
& don't listen to anyone that says a tongue piercing isn't painful, it swells up & is horrid for the first few days.then it's fine |

| | Your mouth heals quite quickly compared to other parts though?
i read that you should be better to avoid spicy foods while your tongue is healing |

Yeah. It's best to although you're not really thinking about eating ANYTHING becasue your tongue is a fatty.

i heard that it hurts more when you bite your tongue than when you get the piercing... but it depends on the your personall pain threshold i think | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
