designer mace?

so yea i work as a bartender while i am finishing up my degree and i meet a lot of creeps...and most recently a 21 year old chick tried to swipe at me from behind the bar. weighing in my options it probably looks classier to use mace than to use a bottle over her face because theres a chance i could cut a bystander.
anyway i found this site that recently got some coverage in the tabloids.

www.pepperface.com

its actually pepper spray---and i want mace but have to get a permit in MA

thoughts?---i think its cute because no one whould know what it is and its cute enough to be an accessory
however anyone who would be stupid enough to put their name on a can of mace needs a reality check

my only problem with mace and or pepperspray is not only the false sense of security it can sometimes give but the room for error as well

next we'll be blingin out brass knucks

those look pretty cool.
if i ever needed to carry mace, i'd probably get one.

but i've never been in a situation where it would've come in handy, and i don't see myself in one anytime in the near future.

i would worry about mace or pepper spray in a crowded room. I would imagine its going to effect everyones eyes and nose who are close. I'd hate to see you get in trouble if people called the police/pressed charges/whatever psyhco things people do.

what about having a good bouncer at the bar??

bouncers are a non option---you only can justify paying to hire them if your establishment holds over a certain amount of people

and legally if your safety is being threatened you can pretty much do whatever in your power

if anyone gets hurt in the process well..thats what insurance is for

pepper spray is non lethal so if i misfire i won't kill anyone

and i know i would never be fired (one of the perks of a family owned biz)
