| | | What would go nice with my new top?
I bought this top today from river island. Its a corset style top with gold, orange and brown flower detail. Thing is I don't really know what to wear with it, Im thinking a nice skirt would be good but apart from black im not too sure what colours would go. Any one got any suggestions of skirts available in UK? |

| | | How about a white flowy skirt? I hate those because they are so trendy but in reading the description of your top, sounds like it would match.
OR you might be safer with something in light beige or off white.
As for where to shop for those in the UK, I dunno. I'm in Canada.
Anyway it's a cute top! I like it alot! |

| | It's pretty and a brown skirt would go nicely I think.
As previously mentioned, you can't go wrong with jeans either. |

| | | i think it's pretty versatile as regards to whether you should wear jeans or a skirt. Just make sure you pick a good pair of jeans(skinny would be best, i agree) or skirt. |

| | | It looks like brown would go better with it than black. Get a nice full-cut, to-the-knee skirt, you don't want to wear something tight or short with it. Also a nice cardigan in a matching color would go well. |

| | | A skirt would be way too fussy, I would opt for jeans, as plain as possible and a nice necklace. |

| | | i tend to think those kind of corsets dont go with anything. they are too dressy but if you go for that approach it's so easy to look trampy/cheap page 3 girl at shitty "i'm here to get my face/tits seen" club opening. and i dont think you can pull off some casual "with jeans" look either. i dont think it would look good with skinny jeans - but maybe that depends more on the colour of the skinny jeans and your weight/height. tall, thin and dark jeans, maybe it could work. and then, i dont think it would look good with a dark skirt either or any skirt for that matter. my opinions are based on the fact that my sister has the exact same corset in the same colour and eveything she wears with it looks odd. moreover, she hardly ever wears it because it is too hard to find something that matches well with it. the top is so "comedy" - i dunno...i find corsets are best left to when you're at a fancy dress party because then you can be outlandish and tacky with it. |

| | | but you gotta be rather thin to pull off that top with skinny jeans and heels. or else it may look a little trampy/trashy. (i don't know how you look like) |

| | | dark wash jeans
and a fitted blazer
the top is so ornate you want that to be the focus
a skirt couldnt be more wrong
with corsettes you walk a very fine line between classy and skanky
jeans (or better yet trousers) with rounded toe flats and a well made blazer
would be the perfect outfit
that top with anything else would equal 'trying too hard' |

| | | i think a pencil skirt & small button up cardigan would look quite nice with it, maybe a dark brown, maroon colour. not short skirt or a fussy skirt as it might look "abit too much" i think. also yeah i agree with skinny jeans, flats/heels and a cardi would also be a nice look too
