im pretty short (150cm) so i have a tendency to not wear flat shoes. but i really hate heels cos they make my feet hurt and i love those colourful flat shoes. any tricks to make me not look so short-ass when im wearing flats?

My old drummer was maybe even shorter than you and she was so adorably cute and small. I used to carry her around. As for shoes I think she just wore flats anyway.

Why would you want to look taller?

The shortness is more of a problem for me when I am trying to buy shorts or pants or skirts. Anything that requires a 'standard' height is a problem.

anyway, wear your flats. i love flats and i also love wedges. heels are for special occasions.

I'm pretty short and sometimes i find flats are not all that flattering...i think a bit of heel, like a wedge or kitten heel is useful on the short frames (especially if you're at all curvy)- it just helps to balance your figure. But that's just me.

Wedge heels are definitely something to look into. Unless you have skinny legs, flats arent always flattering especially with certain skirts

I just bought a pair of black wedge heel boots, and they REALLY make my legs look much longer and attractive then flats ever have.

I hated wedges at first but I think the cut and the fact the wedge is the same colour as the boot helps. They're not as painful to walk in as normal heels because your weight's not all on the front of your foot.

I think maybe flats with a bar across are a more flattering style of flat if you don't like heels at all, that way it cuts off your foot and leg more rather than having your leg look like it ends at your toes.

but when i was younger i always wore flats
now its depends on what outfit i am wearing
