| | | ohhh! i like the alice mccall stuff. very exciting.
the prices are kind of ridiculous for target though. i wouldn't pay $130 for a dress that you know you're going to see 20 other people wearing since targets are everywhere

i love the alice mccall pinafore style silk dress, and the TL wood white cotton/linen dress.
but i agree with bron. semi-cheap designer clothes that are so easy to buy (i mean, how many target stores are there really?) probably aren't worth it. you'll just end up wearing the same thing as everyone else.
although i checked the stores listing, and the one closest to me won't be stocking the designer ranges. ahaha, typical. they also didn't stock those glittery shoes i wanted like 348565 seasons ago.

I think using silk is pretty revolutionary for target. i was very impressed with the quality over all. i actually think they are bargains for what they are. |

| | | I was about to say the same thing....if you take a look out the street most chicks are wearing the same old clone-ish clothing from all those icky shops. not a shock here. wearing anything from a department store, or hell even a wank boutqie will always guarantee other people are wearing the same thing. my advice is to get over that fact and if you want individual then stick to op shop clothing and modifying it or learning to sew and create your own unique stuff. |

| | | I was in target today & had a geez at the new stuff, there was a dress i really liked for $150, but as Bronny said - there is no way you'd pay that much for something that absolutely everyone is going to be wearing.
I can just imagine it now:
"omgz im wearing designer clothes"
"o'rly? where from?"

I absolutely refuse to step foot in supre.
I always buy clothes that are well made.
I'm a bit psycho when it comes to making sure the material is good quality, everything is hemmed properly & all the skirts are lined (my gran was a dressmaker) & I'll pay a fair bit of money for something unique, but only if it's worth the money.
I can't believe some of the shit that leaves factories these days - it must fall apart as soon as you wash it. |

| | | I saw the dresses like last weekish I think, I can't remember by which designer but it was a blue one and it was silky and just to die for.. But I simply just wouldn't pay that much for a dress..
It said in the paper that they were still selling the dresses in boutiques or watever and they were still going to be like their original higher prices but are cheaper at target for a more broader customer some shit..
I like the dresses, will I buy them? No.. But I would wear them if they were bought for me |

"target" | I doub't that's going to happen because once the stock runs out, they aren't replacing it. There wasn't a huge number of pieces made, hence the eBay extravaganza, where the items will go on to fetch crazy inflated prices. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | | | |
