thought i would share for any fans out there, i just talked to the woman at nordstrome and she confirmed that the new L.A.M.B line of purses WILL be out in stores sometime in december! ive already got my name on a list to be called when they hit the racks and shes gonna hold one of every style for me to pick from just in case they get snatched up!  im so excited....she said that they are not told an exact date they will be in but im hoping before x-mas.....the sooner the better in my book!

they seem to be mostly bowling bag shapes, and the played out coach/gucci esque print on those tan bags, and the faux rastafarian ones.. bad news.
atleast that means gwen probably did design them herself. and i do seriously enjoy that she dressed her baby up in camo stretchy leggings, and gold plastic baby shoes. |

maybe you cant compare it with the LeSportsac collection.. I just thought so many bags in that collection were SO cute, and I really regret only buying the black and white hobo...now everythings going for tons on Ebay. The new stuff just doesn't grab me. I get the feeling she's going for a more "grown up" look with these bags, but I just don't feel like it works. Like Orchestral said, it feels like a ripoff of gucci and other designers. I mean if people want prestigious bags, why not just buy the actual Gucci, YSL ect, instead of a LAMB knockoff of the design? Fair play if you like them, I'm just not feeling 'em at all :/ I do like the rasta print - but not the brown leather trim..that's a disgusting color brown. All in all, a disappointment in my eyes. I'd' rather go buy some of the older bags on ebay.

i agree with you, the new bags seem a little more grown up than the lesportsac collection. i really like the rasta print as well. they're similar in shape to what YSL etc are offering but i think the finish of them is what makes them stand apart. the rasta print makes the bag a little fun but if you're after a more conservative looking bag, you could purchase plain black or tan.
does stefani work solely on l.a.m.b or does she have a team of designers behind her?  |

hell, even the nicer looking ones you can find the same styles at a medium-range luggage and purse store... and still pay only about 10% the cost.
