| | must... look GOOD this sort of belongs into every forum, but i posted it here cause it's mainly a beauty+fashion-concern.
ok the deal is, we're invited to his ex-gf's party. a pretty stupid and insane person who i have issues with. i know that her weak spot is her looks. not that she's rat ass ugly, but she's... not pretty. i consider myself prettier; without wanting to sound arrogant... you know.
well i want to be the rain on her parade and catch attention and look brilliant WITHOUT turning out like a clown. so big bad cleavage, mini skirt etc, no, thats not me.
i'm rather asking for advice on how you mentally prepare for such a party??!
i know the harder you try to look great, the worse it gets.
should i just get a little drunk and behave normal?
should i buy new clothes, just to make it feel better?
should i semi-flirt with her new boyfriend to piss her off?
should i wear red lipstick?
should i do what?
i know this is such a brat-like post, it's so being 15, i know, but ... whatever. |

| | | ok, from the pic i'd say hair up,
you have massive eyes, you shouldn't do dramatic eye make-up and wear lipstick, so one or the other, i think red lips would look great and simple. |

| | | yea, that's the dark side of lipstick.
it wears off so soon. plus, after a few cigarettes and drinks it doesn't look elegant anymore. and it feels tacky to redo it every 20 minutes.
AND i thought the biggest fuck-off towards her would be to often kiss my boyfriend.
argh, teenage drama dilemma. lol. |

just imagine you're about to be backstage with gerard but there'd be like 10 other girls in the room you'd want to outshine. |

| | oh, ... that's rather sad. (the crackwhore thing i mean).
i just decided i'll go on a mad shopping spree tomorrow.
blaaah.
thanks again, *lovehearts*; you probably don't believe it, but you had good advice. i'll go seek the perfect red lipcolour + the matching nail polish.
if anyone else has an opinion to share, please post. |

| | | Buy nice clothes, take ages to do your make up and wear perfume. Don't get drunk, just act normal and sweet, thats bound to piss her off. If you get drunk and act like a cunt it's just going to make her look good. |

| | mhmhmm... i don't run the risk to behave like a cunt, i fear i never do.
(but should sometimes ) i mean, the things she said about me are beyond bitchy... the only thing i don't want to do is get drunk and all peaceful and "have a talk with her" (we ignore each other usually, and not in the nice way). so i'll have to impress from a distance.
ya, i'll buy clothes. |

| | I find the only thing you can do in such situation is just act SO above it all.
Just get a nice outfit together and do your hair and make up so you feel confident and pretty but not "va va voom" overdone. And then just go in there and not be petty or bitchy, just basically subtely let everyone know how beautiful and cool you are.
That'll piss her off the most. Good luck. |

| | | Thanks.
I'm also musing upon the whole "saying hi"-thing.
I mean she throws this party with 3 other friends, they all had their birthdays recently.
I might get her into the Smiths and just hand "Unhappy Birthday" for a start... aw.
I mean, last year on her birthday she invited my bf (her ex) and added "you can bring her (her=ME) but don't expect me to embrace her".
what a cunt. |
