it opened today, at least for ppl who have accounts and got the preview invitation. which was literally THOUSANDS of ppl, it was insane, never seen a line like that for ANYTHING.

the store is beautiful, rivals the lex&59th one in NYC, most definitely.

and the adjoining westfield, which will include a juicy store, is opening tomorrow, along with the "official" opening of bloomies.

i encourage any northern californians to go when the crowds die down. or anyone visiting the bay area. it's too awesome to pass up!

Bloomies..... someone came in my work today who went to the preview, he said it was cool, but everything he liked was insanely expensive.

and they dont carry balenciaga unfortunately. BUT they carry sooo many AWESOME handbags, each designer has their own little 'boutique' on the first floor-chloe, fendi, dior, jimmy choo, marc jacobs, juicy, etc etc.

i noticed that in terms of clothes or handbags, they're not like neimans or saks with d&g, gucci, chanel, valentino. but they DO have all those sunglasses

its COMPLETELY worth a look around. or a million. go this weekend! well, if you wanna brave the crowds! lol

ohhhh i loveeeee bloomies!! we have one in atlanta...but i live in denver now and theres not one here : (....so when i visit home i try stop by there. and yeah..some of thier stuff is a little spendy, but on average i dont think its too expensive. ive bought alot of shoes from there as well as clothing and other items. the bloomies in atl has the most wonderful purses....i swear...i could just live in that store for DAYYYSSSS.

I've never gotten into Jimmy Choo, but I love Dior and Chloe. And ooh, sunglasses I may go down this weekend... or I might wait a few weeks, til it's not quite a madhouse anyymore. If anyone buys anything there this weekend, they should post it up in the new purchases thread. *nods*

i moved back to the south bay to go to school (Santa Clara University).
i love having my car back, but hate walking outside at any old hour of the day and seeing 0-5 people on the street. whereas in san francisco, there are always people, you feel like you're walking out of your little bubble of a room/apartment/dorm into a big already existing world, and get caught up in the flow of things. everything seems much less connected, here.
