i think those outfits just look ridiculous.

i just have a question though-- is this mainstream japanese fashion? do a lot of people in japan actually dress up like this?

not really/ every once in a while you will see a couple of people together dressed like this. usally for a weird event. like a shitie runway. [like from the pix] or in america mura. but thats about it.

this fashion movement has been going on for the past 10 years. You need to find pictures of their full bodies to get the entire feel for the look.

Well, since everyone's favourite item is made by a western comapny (Leg Avenue), I don't really class them as very Japanese-y or nice...

Still want this though...

Only those under 20, unless certain adults have a very forgiving job about pink hair tousled one foot high into the air..

i think what makes those photos look so horrid is the terrible quality of them. i mean what is that fug background all about? it is not helping the matters!

Some japanese fashions are really cute.. but this looks like a fancy dress party? Are we sure it's not? is this absolutely positively the new fashion?

They go out like this..?

This is the worst japanese fashion I have ever seen...I kinda like some ofthe stuff but I am a much bigger fan of the tokyopop fashion I'm more familiar with.

I saw this photography book on japanese street fasion called "fresh fruit"a dn the people in it put outfits together amazingly well and looked cute and lively...not like gross whores.
