| | | wedding My god, its stressing me out so much.
My best Friends wedding is next month.
I cannot think what the fuck to wear.
I want something kinda alternative, but classy.
Kinda 50's, pin up, rockabilly esq...
You all know what I look like right?
size 12...
34D
5ft 4.
Think what goes with that kinda body.
I am obviously wearing heels.
Website links...suggestions....I need every bit of help I can get.

I love the turquiose one. It might be a little bit loud, though.

They're fabulous and yes it sounds like 50s will be perfect for your womanly figure.
I'm wedding planning at the mo... all booked-up 07.07.07
Church booked, Reception Venue booked, Bridal party chosen, Car booked (stretched VW beetle), so much to do. I've just finished a course & I've got 3 weeks before I start the next one so I'm going to be wedding-organising-cramming.

| | | i don't like those big puffing-out dresses at all. i would go a bit more understated, i think. it's somebody else's wedding - the attention should be on her |

I am sure she will look fucking amazing, and as soon as she walks into the room, all eyes will be on her.
I can't do understated...Its just not in me, she knows that. Quote: |

On their site you can also track your order so you know exactly where it is. I'd really recommend them. |

You're spot-on about the 'not outshining the bride' thing. I think they glow and it's their day no matter what any one else is wearing... saying that if one of our guests turned-up wearing white/cream I'd prolly shoot on sight. There is a line.
I know someone who ordered the blue dress with white polka dots from pinupgirl, It arrived safely in the uk & she looked freakin gorgeous. |

She lives in London, I have been best friends with her since we were born, but she moved away when she was about 12.
I phone her regularly and ramble on and on about the wedding, but for some odd reason she never talks about the dress!
haha..I will have to phone her today and find out?
Why? Just in case its kinda classic and understated?
eeekkkk....!! |

obviously it is 100% up to you, but i have always thought women wearing simple, well fitting dresses always look the best at weddings. women in over the top dresses & too much make up just look desperate & kind of attention grabbing. |
