| | | Budget Decorating Wasnt sure if this goes in Life and Career or in here, so feel free to move.
I'd like to know if anyone has any good ideas/tips about decorating on a budget. I moved into my own apartment a few months ago and havent done too much as far as decorating. I have furniture and all... in my living room anyway, but I'd like it to look more like a "home". Its hard cause i dont have lots of money to throw around, but I'm sure theres something I can do. I'm just not very creative and would like some help. I'm not even too sure what I'm looking for. I cant do very much in terms of painting though.
Anybody have any websites where I can buy stuff at a reasonable price? |

I have a rug with several different colours in it, so I use them as accent colours. If you already have something like that that you love, run with it. Wal mart, TJ Maxx, Target etc are good places to start, especially for things like inexpensive window coverings. My best finds usually come when I am wandering. I will just happen across something that I might not need, but that strikes me and that would work with my colour scheme. Do you have pictures? |

Yeah i definately need some type of colour scheme going on here. All I really have is a sofa with a pretty ugly pattern...tan with orangish flowers.
Pictures of my place? I dont but I can take one with my webcam. |
