| | i'm such a sucker for the first days of autumn. i ALWAYS go out and buy the most comfortable soft autumn-y things i can find. it's the one season that brings out the maniac megaconsumer in me. i can hardly walk into a store without wanting half the stuff there.
today i went out on a search for a t-shirt, but with the air suddenly cold and wet, i ended up with a pair of jeans and a sweater, upping the percentage of non-black items in my wardrobe to, oh, 5%? it's so not what i usually wear, and i sort of look like a chubby teenage boy in it, but OH SO COMFORTABLE. |

from dotty p's
this actually has little butterflies all over it, with fluttery off the shoulder sleeves too. £1 from the charity shop
big wooly coat - £3 from good ol' sue ryder
pin stripe trousers - £1.50 from local charity shop
any my boyfriend bought me this beautiful necklace from an antique shop in scotland
i started crying the other night because i couldn't find a nice, plain top to go with a skirt i wanted to wear so set out on a mission today to buy some, and managed to get loads of next-to-new ones from the charity shop for 50p! (yes i am skint) I always buy these elaborately detailed tops and then have nothing to go with patterned bottoms.
p.s. it is now officially a month since i bought a pair of shoes. i don't think i've ever been this long before. it feels kind of strange. |

They just put them up on the web site. So I don't know if they'll be in the store or not yet. I ordered 2 day delivery, since I'm leaving next Thursday night, but if you order regular $5 shipping, you'll have it in 7 days.
It's just that sometimes, it's a few weeks before the new stuff online appears in the stores. |
