| | | Shoe advice - flats for business dress I am starting work next week and I need some flats I can wear with a suit. Dress code is very strictly business formal, but since I recently broke my ankle (and since I don't want to set a precedent in which I can be expected to wear heels) I want to find something with little to no heel. A small heel will be ok, but it CANNOT be a stiletto/kitten heel because of the torn tendons.
I don't mind spending a bit for good shoes (up to 200 dollars), but I need to find something in Ottawa. Basically I need some ideas of what style of shoe might strike a compromise between business formal and flat. |

| | | Try some nice pumps. There's lots of pumps and flats out on the high street at the mo.
Can you shop online? |

| | | <3 nine west.
I was at the store today and didn't see anything (I didn't see those). I'm going to keep looking. I'm also shopping for suits since I got confirmation today that my office is strictly business formal. Imagine my joy 1000 dollars later... |

| | | I found some really comfortable flats at payless, strangely enough. They're ballet flats, probably not suit-appropriate, but they might have nicer shoes that are just as comfortable. Wedges would be a good alternative to heels, as long as it's a very small wedge they should be work appropriate. |

| | | I actually found some at the Aldo outlet for 30 bucks. They are cute more than hot (what flats are hot?), but they will do and I like them. They are a variation on a mary jane. |

I can't believe you bought pants. I actually ended up with an equal number of pant and skirt suits. I am worried I won't wear the skirts. FEAR. |
