| | | Back To School Bookbags/Totes/Backpacks i'm feeling like i'm far too old for a backpack, and my beloved bookbag has been ripped by the puppy.
now i need a new one. what are some cute book bags or totes you've seen?
what are you carrying your books in? eh? |

| | | target has some nice messenger bags in the mens department. if i didnt already own 3 messenger bags i would have gotten one.
they are canvas and have lots of pockets and seem roomy enough for a few notebooks and textbooks.
i actually just use a gap messenger/shoulder bag that someone forgot in my dorm room years ago. it fits everything and has a big pocket on the flap that i can shove all my little things in. it also has 3 weird pockets that i dont use, due to the inconvenience of their placement.
urban outfitters has the andy warhol totes that are nice.
but i cant do totes for school. i have 2 english classes which require books everyday. totes hurt my shoulder too much. |

I've had it for years. I love it.

| | | Last year I carried mine in this black and white houndstooth bag I got on sale at Old Navy. Some girl asked me if it was Chanel once, which amused me.
I found a leatherish (probably fake) messenger-size bag at ross for $17. That's what I'll be using this year.
For those of you that like backpacks, fyi, my LL bean backpack is the only one that ever lasted me through a full year of huge high school textbooks without falling apart. |

they've got tons of different style bags there.
JanSport backpacks are pretty sturdy too, i used the same bag for almost three years. |

| | | i used to use kipling messenger bags but they hurt my shoulder too much. for the past 2 or 3 years i had a big jansport backpack that i could fit everything in so i wouldnt have to use my locker. but, it's got a few holes in it. i just bought a north face bag and it seems all of the north face bags i've had have held up well. |

| | I love messenger bags, but if you're actually transporting stuff a backpack is so much better on your back/shoulders. Or, if you're transporting enough stuff get a suitcase/breifcase:
