I went on a fairly long bike ride. First, I did a 21 mile loop on a bike path which goes through several towns near where I live. I accessed this bike path by taking the subway out of town to the last stop. After the first mile on the path, I felt like I was in "the country".
After finishing riding that trail, I stopped by a barbeque place for a huge ass plate of food, including a perfectly prepared pulled pork sandwich (NC style), baked beans, coleslaw, and some great iced tea.
I ate everything, and still had some energy, so instead of taking the subway back home, I rode the 7 miles or so all the way back to my house.
Total milage for the day: around 28. I was tired when I got home, but not flat-out dead.
