i think basil is my favourite herb. i'm wondering what ways i can use fresh basil other than:

pesto
bruschetta
general pasta dishes
not on a sandwich with motzarella and tomato (though that is yummy)


i've heard it used in thai food or other non-italian ways. anyone care to enlighten me?

ever tried pesto rosso? you can use it in there, too.
as well as pizza topping.

i'm pretty sure they use a leaf of it in each of the thai rolls they make at the local place we have here
not sure what other dishes they may use it in
