Solly...I used one of those things all the time when I wrestled in high school...I would run 4 miles a night...and using that thing for 5-10 min would wear me out...sometimes even faster...

its not easy...

so stick with it...its not you...its the rope...if you become a jedi master of that thing....you will be one ripped english lady...I kid you not.

ohhhh..and this will help you build up strong forearms which will help jump rope longer and harder.....



a brutal machine of torture (not one of my fondest memories of training)

...read what Bruce Lee has to say about how hard it is to develop forearm and hand strength..apparently the forearm is one of the most dense muscles in the body and most people (including me) underdid it...and uhh..Bruce Lee...DID NOT lofl.

oh and these too...Mike Tyson used them all the time...



but yeah..they will help you become Jedi Master of the Jump Rope (that and practice )

I used to use my stepdad's weighted skipping rope. I got pretty good when I was around 13, but it was also around then I stopped giving a **** about not getting fat.

love jump rope!

When I was training for a half marathon last year, I would do jump rope after my weekly long slow runs. I think it really improved my cardio and helped me get a better time than I would have otherwise.

It always makes me dizzy and exhausted. It's good cardio. But not something I do on a regular basis cause I feel like a dork when I trip up.

Tigz do you do it to music?
