| | | what diets/eating habits have worked for you...without driving you NUTS? ok, as i've admitted in the "we're all fatasses" thread, yes i am overweight, and even more so now that ive moved up north w/ my boyfriend (you know, the comfort mode). i have always been a little on the "thicker" side, but i had maintained my weight for the most part.
my weakness is sweets....especially at night time. ive tried the whole "eat fruit instead the satify your sweet tooth" but guess what? FRUIT ISNT CAKE.
so i just want to know what has worked for some of you. what have you changed about your diet/eating habits that have helped you lose weight? what are your eating habits like now? how many calories do you have a day? and most important (especially for people who love sweets) what have you substituted for those annoying and agonizing cravings? |

| | | This goes against everything everyone ever said about diets.
Don't have SET time's for eating. Eat when yr hungry.
When you have set times for eating your waiting for the time yr "allowed" to eat it all gets a bit mad - "OMFG IT'S DINNER TIME!!11".
If you want sweets eat them responsibly. FOR EXAMPLE.
Theres a cake in the kitchen.
All day you think about this cake & its goodness/ badness.
At night time yr going to eat all this cake cause you've denied yrself it all day.
The thing you should do is have a slice of this cake so you don't crave it quite so badly.
If you think your going to eat the rest of the cake throw it the fuck outside.
Diets don't work.
