now that i have a treadmill in my house...

- 30 min run/jog @ 5 mph
- 45 min walk @ 3 mph

i'm about to embark on the latter now.
i had the epiphany "hey, you know how you're sitting in bed watching history channel? you could be doing that whilst walking [on the treadmill, you just bought!]"

teaching the dog to use the treadmill though. disaster.

You can bash a tennis ball against a backboard. It's good for developing your power forehand. I did probably thousands of hours of that as a kid, because I lived over the fence from a tennis court for a few years. It helps!

Badminton ruined my tennis game. And my forearm tendon.

today's exercise was nothing because work is too busy today (but evidently not too busy to kr for a minute here and there).

but normally i do:

30 minutes 3-4 days per week on either treadmill or stair climber (HIIT - that is i do as hard as i can for 2 minutes then 2 minutes medium, then 2 minutes brisk walk which is easy, then repeat for the duration of the 30 minutes). on treadmill i go level 8, level 7, level 6 then the walk is 3.2.

15-20 minutes weight machines...i don't know what they are called but i do a rowing type motion (60 lbs, and i think it works back and shoulder muscles), a machine where you work the back of the arms (30 lbs), a machine for biceps and also for shoulders like bench pressing but not free weight with that big barbell like the crazies do (60 lbs), a machine for the chest muscles that's like pushups but sitting up (45 lbs), a machine for the inner thighs where you press a lot of weight inwards (think thighmaster as seen on tv but on a big machine, 100 lbs), a machine for the outer thighs where you press a lot of weight outwards (90 lbs), and a machine for the large muscles at the front of your thighs (120 lbs). i do as heavy of weights as i can stand and without injuring myself, 3 sets of 10 reps each.
