But yeah, the water out of the taps up here is pretty fantastic, we're super lucky. I've heard it is extraordinarily hard and practically undrinkable taste-wise in London but I've never actually tried it. Seems like filtering it is common enough tho.
How do these filters that attach to the tap/faucet work? I take it you have to replace them or replace a filter in them or something from time to time? I encountered one for the first time in the fellow's house in Canada and was just like... wtf is this thing attached to the tap? |
The shower head thingy was dead easy to attach, just a case of unscrewing the existing showere head, inserting the filter and re-screwing it. The filters on the taps are metal doo hickeys that screw on and the interior filter is a mesh that gets replaced twice yearly.
