| | | I'm stuck ive been trying to loose weight since october last year, and i was doing really well i had lost over a stone by xmas, but since then i have not lost anymore weight, none, im completely stuck. if i really really diet for a few days i can loose about a pound but its so hard to keep that level of dieting up for more than a couple of weeks.
i do an hour and a half of yoga five times a week. That really helps clear my head and relax but its not helping me loose weight.
i really want to lose another stone and a half buy september and im not at college now until then so i have plenty of free time.
can anyone offer me any advice on how to carry on loosing weight? |

| | | walk at a clip or run, if you can, for at least 25 minutes and best to do it 45 minutes. do this three times a week. weight train as well. your body has adjusted to the type of exercise you currently do; you need to shake things up a bit. use different muscle sets in different ways.

| | | That's good advice. To echo that I'd agree in varying your exercise plan drinking 2 plus litres of water a day. Maybe start body brushing to get rid of toxins and cellulite and try juicing on alternate days. The supplement acidophilus in powder or capsule form is great for beating bloatedness.
I've currently reached a plateua also and want to lose half a stone which doesn't seem to want to shift! Let us know how you get on.
Lemon and hot water is good in the morning too to kick start detoxing! |

| | | youre not really going to lose any weight without cardio, as i have personally seen. also, being on a strict diet can be so restricting that you tend to cheat and go off the diet. im my experiences i give up certain things that are useless for me. for example, i dont eat candy and i dont drink pop. if i crave pop i have a sip and it gets rid of the craving. if you DO crave sweets, dont deprive yourself or youll binge. just try it in moderation...like if you want ice cream, eat 1/2 the amount you normally would, etc etc. |

In terms of exercise, which is necessary for what you want to achieve, dirtyplotte's advice is excellent.

| | | thanks alot this is all really great advice, as for taking supliments, are there any that i could be talking that might help?
the way i lost the stone before christmas was on my "Redbull & Coffee" diet, basicly i just didn't eat Breakfast or lunch but instead had RedBull or Coffee, then ate whatever i wanted for dinner. i know this is really unhealthy that why i tried to lose the weight the healthyer way after Christmas, by eating lots of salad and fresh fruit. but i have stopped losing the weight. I find it really really difficult to do the "redbull & coffee" diet now, its so hard not to eat all day. |

| | | I suggest you detox with pure cranberry juice for two days that will help you when you've reached a plateau. |

I just know that when a person reaches a plateau, she needs to detox for two days in order to start losing weight again. |

I've been wanting to do a detox type thing that doesn't require 10 days of fucking maple syrup and saltwater flushes, or "buy our expensive (not to mention disgusting) detox products -- YOU NEED THEM TO LOSE WEIGHT *insert subliminal advertising here*!!!" Gag. Something realistic, please!
(My bladder and kidneys would also like to thank you in advance. ) |
