| So... I took a stripper pole class yesterday. [Background]
My two friends who are sisters have been taking the class for littler over a month with one of the sisters co-workers and the other sisters friend. Well the friend dropped out of the class and I said I would join. You get a deal if four people are in each class , $25 per person. I hate working out but love fun work out classes, I tried Zumba and that was some hardcore **** lemme tell you. So I figured okay...I've ****ed around on a pole for funzies once or twice this should be fun.
WELL ...I have a new found respect for strippers.
That **** inst easy , but its a lot of fun. The warm up is pretty intense, your on a yoga mat doing various stretches , crunches and push ups to get your muscles ready for the pole.
I learned alot in one class, example.... a simple spin around the pole while landing in the same spot , a backwards spin , how to spin with one leg behind your back , how to spin with your ankles together and your knees far apart and landing on your knees [ a graceful as possible].
I did somehow cut the heel of my left foot and bleed all over.
I mean blood on the floor , the pole , both of legs looked like I had a miscarriage down them. The teacher was very cool said I wasn't the first person to bleed in the studio and I wont be the last so we trucked on through it.
Today I woke up and felt like I got hit by a mother****ing truck.
My thighs feel like I was crushing cantaloupes between them , my arms feel like I hung from a tree for hours like I was on survivor or some **** , and my nonexistent abs burnnn.
I was basically crippled at work tonight.
I cannot believe being a stripper was that ****ing THAT ****ing athletic.
I figure if something THAT much fun is SUCH a great workout the I'm gonna to stick with it. |
