It's not something people get caught for often though, at least not over here. Unless you go into the supermarket and actually annouce that you're buying the alcohol for some kids, or you hand it over to them in front of a policeman or something, the odds of you getting caught are slim to none. When I was underage my friends' older siblings used to buy us alcohol all the time and they never got caught. Unless you make it really really obvious what you're doing, the shopkeeper isn't going to question you about it. |
Unless you'rein Belfast city centre, we havepolice patrols, at least 10 or so people get caught every weekend, they usually just get and warning and their alcohol poured out if it's a first time offence.
i thikn it's kinda unfair though,like the 18 year old guy can't buy his 17 year old girlfriend a drink ?
I think alcohol laws should be relaxed
