As long as they clean them properly afterwards, I think its okay.
Off on a tangent here but what fucking kills me is when house'mates' leave pans and plats covered in food for days. last year i lived with my friend and a girl couple who used to leave food in the pots(for days!) so we could nt use them unless we cleaned them!! They would never clean off plates/bowls/cups anything! I ended up with e cloi while living in that house. I ve no proof it was due to their dirty habits but I like to blame them anyway.

one of my housemates decided to cook beans one day. he never washed the dishes, i wanted to make a point about it and not wash this one. i left it there to see what he'd do, i completely forgot about it, and when i decided to remove the lid the fucking thing was moving like in a horror film. where do worms come from?

anyway so what he did is throw it away and buy another pot.
