I settled with hake that was not so skillfully breadcrumbed by my friend, with asparagus, sweet potato fries & guacamole. It was yums

Another drop of gin?

tilapia is fairly inexpensive where i am (was MUCH cheaper in texas, but still on the cheap side here) and its a good grilled fish.

i also love mahi mahi. with mahi mahi, i do the kosher salt and cracked pepper, cook over med high heat in a bit of butter and then add some tequila and triple sec and let cook covered for a while. super moist. the sugar from the triple sec adds some crunch and its excellent broken up and put into fish tacos with queso fresco or sour cream and tomatillo sauce.

Grill some mackerel.
core, peel and chop a couple of apples. heat in a pan with some lemon juice, rosemary and thyme and some sugar (I think) and cook until it is kind of a puree.
Serve with the grilled mackerel.
Tasty.

is mackerel mushy like trout? or is it flaky?
