| | | Ephedra Has anyone used this supplement before? If so how effective was it?
Obviously it's banned in the UK but there are ways to get it. I need to burn some lower body fat asap and have heard it can be incredibly effective.
Comments and advice would be appreciated, cheers. |

| | | It's banned for a reason. It's not safe. Try diet and exercise. |

| | | I hear what your'e saying but because I already train rigourously I need something suitably strong to really get the best out of myself. I might try the supplement Hydroxycut which is supposed to be good. |

| | | Please do not use Hydroxy or Ephedra or anything. The safest most effective way is the hardest way. Exercise. The most boring way. Exercise. The longest way Exercise. I've used pills before, they are not supplements, but pills. Shit speeds up your heart and you feel hungry all the time. I lost no weight on any of the pills I tried. Not to mention a huge waste of money. Be active every day. I know with work and school it's hard, but add a piece of equipment to your home, or do something as small as a walk. If you are looking to get rid of belly fat, thigh fat, butt fat, pills will not do that , that is for sure. You will get more results with hardcore exercise. |

| | | why did you feel hungry all the time....its an appitite supressor, it expands in your stomach to make you feel fed.....
ive lost a few pounds with trimspa. but what you need to do, is the research yourself. Now ephedra has a bad rep, and if you actually read about it, a lot of it is hype. But it IS a powerful drug and in most of the diet pills, its doctored and you shouldnt take it.
I thought it was funny that right in the middle of the mall theres a cart saying "ephedras BACK" it was kind of scary.
now something that these people up here are failing to mention, is that exercise and diet alone doesnt work for EVERYONE. I have a thyroid problem and if you have an issue with your thyroid or your metabolism is slower by nature or by problems you've had in the past, you have to take steps to get everything on a better track. There are pills by prescription for both thryoid and metabolism issues, but they are strong and there are blood tests involved. you cant just get them buy complaining about a little bit of fat.
Now what worries me is that you said asap. which means you are looking for something that will work in a few weeks....that doesnt exsist. go to the gym, work out 4 days a week, you'll see a result. dont work out EVERY DAY though, especially if you're toning, because your muscles need time to heal up. But if you're working towards shedding fat without gaining a considerable amount of muscle, then do cardio activity. running, spinning, ball work, swimming etc.
hopefully this helped |

| | | You know what it was, I was weak. I was weak on it. And when I am weak, I became hungry. I think that was where the hunger came from. In any event, it made me feel horrible. Every type of diet pill or appetite supressant has. Maybe I'm super sensitive. |

| | | you could be. its not a bad thing or anything, you've just got a body that knows when its being messed with.
it could have been psychological. Your body felt weak and impaired and that translated to weak from hunger. |

| | | Thanks for the constructive advice, I think in that case I will just step up the wokrkouts maybe add a little bit of yoga to my cardio and try juicing. It's mainly just stubborn lower body fat. My legs are where I carry all my weight and I'm happy with my small waist and collarbones! Being a girl is such a bitch sometimes! I'm petite which I like but my legs should technically be a lot slimmer! |

| | | yeah you probably have no issue what so ever.
ive noticed a lot more people asking about dieting since all of hollywood has dropped to 70 pounds or less.
really just tone, you dont have to be incredibly thin...and dont work yourself too hard, because then you'll never enjoy your body. |

| | | If you could spend just 5 minutes inside of the episode i once had with that stuff (took a couple yellowjackets to wake up) you wouldn't even question about it again.
When they say otherwise perfectly healthy people drop over dead on the weight bench or treadmill on that stuff, I have noooo problem believing it.
That shit is unsafe. |

| | | If you have to obtain your diet supplements illegally anyways why not just use speed?
Anyways. No, it's not safe. It can cause heart damage, high blood pressure, etc, and give you a heart attack. It's addictive, and just like any upper, breaking the addiction to it would probably make you gain weight. I wouldn't use it. |

the number of people who have actually died with a DIRECT link to ephedra (not just, oh she took ephedra a few months ago. more like, shed been taking 4 pills a day for the past 6 months) pales in comparison to how many people have actually taken the drug. Ephedra is not to be taken on a regular basis for long periods of time. thats where people mess up. they think you can take it for how ever long. its just an aid to begin the weight loss and give you the energy needed to stay motivated. a lot of people just starting out, get tired easily and give up. this gives them the push
plus, when they mention those people, its never stipulated how prolonged their work out sessions were. when you're overweight and on an eliptical for 2+ hours something is gonna go wrong...The air force kid who died young. how many pills were being ingested? how much time was he spending working out? At ASU there are plenty of young athelets who suffer with heart ailments and such, because they work out too hard, and dont take the proper precautions, and continually go over their limit.
id say, if you're going to try ephedra. go to an herbal nutritionist and see what they say. Most agree that its safe when taken properly. not to a doctor because they just tell you what you want to hear, and then they try to give you a script only so they get more money for selling the drug.
Id actually love to see a picture of you, because i really really doubt you are in need of dietary aids. You say you're petite...well pills are for those who are deeply overweight. If you're petite you just need to go to the gym | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
