I have a tomato cook book somewhere. when I find it I will see if I can find some recipes from there.

Chop 'em and fry them on a low heat in a big pot with lots of garlic and basil, add lashings of red wine and let it simmer for about 20-30mins and then blend. Freeze it as soon as it cools. You can add chilli and kidney beans to it at a later date if you fancy going mexican as it's a good base for chilli. Yum
