i was eating a salad yesterday lunch and a bit of the lettuce (the really dark leafy kind) got stuck between my tooth and my gum???
so my gum looks black right there where it is??
and i brushed and brushed. and flossed. and toothpicked it til it bled
but a little tiny bit of this lettuce is still there

ITS DISGUSTING and it makes it look like my gum is black and rotting

it is REVOLTING
i have no idea what else to do.
when i try to toothpick it, i think it just gets deeper.

try mouthwash or anything to swish a lot
and more brushing and flossing

instead of dental floss, use dental tape, it's much more efficiant.

i dont think i am conveying exactly how deep this is.
it is not sticking out at all. it is entirely inside the gum, like in front of the tooth
wedged between the tooth and the gum.
i feel filthy

did you try the vigorous swishing?
i mean i can't think of anything else that would help that really
i sometimes have the same issue w. the clear part off of popcorn kernels
it will eventually work its way out but i say swish
