I NEED TO SORT THIS OUT?
so french bread is bread that you just dip in raw eggs and then cook/fry in a pan
I THOUGHT FRENCH BREAD WAS SOME FANCY AMERICAN THING that they ate in sweet valley..but aparently im wrong.
SO PLEASE CAN YOU ANSWER THIS
french toast = bread that has soaked up all the eggy goodness and then put in a frying pan with some oil and friend and then put on a plate and eaten. (possibly with alot of BROWN SAUCE)
is eggy bread and french toast the same thing.
and also
IF YOURE EATING IT WITH SWEETIES ON TOP are you doing anything different to it?
do you really crack an egg in a bowl and then put salt and pepper in it and then soak thar up with a bit of bread then fry it in a pan with oil until it is crispy and eggy and THEN PUT CREAM AND CHOCOLATE AND FRUIT ON TOP OF IT?
i have never heard of eggy bread but i like the idea, as i have always liked what we call french toast except that i can't really eat sweets in the morning without throwing up.
anyway, the (basic) recipe i have always used for french toast has involved egg, a little milk, a little vanilla extract, and cinnamon for what you put in the bowl to dip the bread in. then you put butter and maple syrup on it after its fried. but yeah a lot of people also like fruit and powdered sugar and placenta or whatever else.
